MASK ON! PHILLY
Community Transformation Partners Inc. has launched an initiative called Operation MASK ON! Philly, to combine STEAMIE Workspace equipment with local facilities to create face masks for essential workers and high-risk community members. We are currently working in partnership with the Philadelphia Housing Authority to re-purpose the Vaux Big Picture School’s STEAM Lab into a pop-up makerspace to produce face masks. We chose a strength based framing for wealth creation (career development, entrepreneurship, etc) and health and wellness (Masks, aging in place, caregiver communities).
